Um maybe try getting a new skin like Glacier Style or something creative. Having a white skin from my point of view won't attract many members.

I agree with Wizet, SMF have a lot of free and easy to install templates, i suggest finding one that suites you site and than install it. Remember you can always edit templates!

It is harc to review forums, I can't think of any forum that need adding and your forums are quite active. So the only suggestion would be for you to get a custom style like the previous people have said.

I think your forum is looking pretty good. The ads aren't too intrusive, which is a big plus.

I would recommend changing the layout as well; however, you may have to adjust the advertisements after changing the layout. Personally, I like the standard SMF layout. However, it may make some newcomers to your forum think that it is undeveloped and they may leave before ever giving the content a chance.
