I am creating this thread to help everybody understand how TCF is run and how you can access different parts of our site. You are currently on the TCF forums, For you to post they require that you register, From registering you will have permission to post on our forums and some added benefits that I will explain more about.

TCF Portal:

The portal is basically just a "Gateway" that loads when you first come the TCF. The portal has links to all the current sections of TCF.

Tutorials Site:

This is the newest edition to TCF, You can access it via links that are doted around the forms, link directory and TCF portal, Or you can access it directly at http://tutorials.thecomputerforum.co.uk. I have installed a bridge between phpbb and joomla so that you can login to the tutorials site with your forums details. When you first login to the tutorials site you will have "Read Only" access for you to start posting tutorials you need to send me a pm (On thses forums) explaining you would like access to post tutorials. Now as a reward for your efforts of posting tutorials, I will give you 50 credits for every tutorial you make More info: post-tutorial-t259.html.

Please remember that all tutorials must be original, This means it should be your own work and that the tutorial is not just copied of another site or is copyrighted. So if you are posting a tutorial it can be written by you and only you. By submitting a tutorial you are agreeing to these terms.

TCF Link Directory:

TCF has it's very own link directory that you can submit your site to for free. The directory is located at: http://thecomputerforum.co.uk/directorya.php , You can submit your site at http://thecomputerforum.co.uk/linksubmission (It is a link exchange so you have to place a link back to TCF), If you do not wish to place a link back to TCF but would still like to be listed in the Link directory, Please read this offer: post-tutorial-t259.html
