File Storage

Today their are lots of different ways of storing your files and data here are some of the types of storage.

Floppy/Cd/DVD Disks

One of the first ways invented of storing data and being able to move it around from computer was a type of disc. Out of the three floppy disks were made first and today are rarely used. However cd's and dvd's are still used all of the time.

Flash drives.

Flash drives are slowly taking over from cds and dvds because you can delete / remove and edit your data and are quite cheap they are also very compact so are very portable.

On-line Web Storage.

This is another way of storing your files that has become much more popular over the last couple of years. The advantages of using this is their are lots of website that are free and you can access you files any where as long as you have a computer / laptop orsomething that connects to the internet.

So please vote in the poll and post with you opinions.

External Hard Drive; if you get them while they are on sale, you can get 1gb for $1.
If it is something small, I'll use a CD.

I prefer a USB flash drive because you know where it is, and you look after it. I would never trust anyone with my information

I use web storage, mainly because I have a server so its easier to access anything, especially from school if I lose homework.
