Computer + Wireless broadband deal Vodafone

Does anyone know if these offers computer + wireless broadband that Vodafone shops offer in the UK are good?

You get a 24-month contract of £40/month (Speed 7.2 Mbps I think, 3 GB downloads) for the USB modem and they give you an HP computer for free or a Sony Vaio paying £99.95.

The specs of these two computers are quite similar except the HP comes with 1 GBP RAM and the Sony “ GB and the HP has webcam. Other than that: 200 HDD, Dual Core, 15.5” screen, Vista.

Is this a good offer? What’s the catch?
I can’t decide if I should do this and what computer to choose.

The offer seems quite good because by the end of the year you would of paid £480 and you would have got either a laptop or computer with internet access.
